In roof systems - roof integrated solar panels

We specialise in these stylish neat systems.

These systems can be retro fitted on an existing slate or concrete tiled roof OR installed as part of a new roof or new build project.

This type of system has the panels recessed into the fabric of the roof structure.

They prevent wind load up-lift forces stressing the roof structure and look very neat and stylish. MCS accredited equipment used.

Flat roof installations

These systems are designed for a non-penetrative mounting solution. Ideal for Rubber roofs, bitumen roofs and fibre glass roofs. Each system is specifically and individually designed for snow and wind loadings in your exact location.

These systems are ballast mounted so that there is no penetration to the roof covering.  Point loading is kept to a minimum due to the lattice work design so weight loading on the existing structure is not usually an issue.

Slate roof installations

These systems use a specialised ‘Slate Flashing’ kit that is guaranteed for wind loading purposes and water ingress protection.

Rosemary tile installations

These systems use a specialised ‘Hook Stop kit’ that is guaranteed for wind loading purposes and water ingress protection.

The thick rubber matt type product prevents the installed roof hook placing pressure and damaging the lower layer of tiles.

Ground mounted installations

These systems are designed specifically for ground mounting.

Examples of use would be a field or garden area. We measure the size of the system required and have a reinforced concrete base poured.

Once the base is set and ready (Usually 24 hours) we assemble and mount the frame work onto it by bolting the sub-structure securely to the reinforced concrete base.

We then mount the panels onto the frame work.

Very simple, very neat and very effective.

These systems receive more ‘Free Air’ movement around the panels keeping them cooler on warmer days. This results in a higher output / greater performance.

Our unique bird guard & wind deflector system

Our Bird guard / wind deflector is not just a functional addition to the solar panel array.

It is also an extremely neat and smart cosmetic finish.

We do NOT use the bird spikes / plastic perimeter bird guard – it looks terrible and often blows off in high winds.

We have learnt these lessons through real life experience over several years and we have created a great solution.

We have our very own unique bird guard / wind deflector system.

It bolts onto the panels and looks very neat. The guard protects the array from unwanted pests such as birds and squirrels from nesting under the panels and causing damage and a potential fire risk by nesting materials and chewing of cables.

Our unique system also breaks up the high wind loads that can cause damage to roof structure in high wind conditions.

High wind ‘Up- lift forces’ under the panels can be damaging to the roof structure, our system helps prevent this.

Our completed solar panel systems look supremely well finished with this great multi purpose addition.
