Yes, surprisingly the UK annually receives 60% of the light falling on the equator. South Wales has an average of around 1100kWh per kW peak installed where panels are optimally positioned. South, South East or South Westerly facing roof tops are ideal for PV in the UK.

If your home needs more electrical power than your solar panel system is generating an optional battery system can supplement with surplus solar stored during high generation periods. Any further energy required is then automatically purchased as usual via your existing electricity meter.

Once the battery is fully charged, any residual solar energy is ‘Exported’ automatically onto the grid.
